While there is a scent of Spring in the air, with sightings of early daffodils, crocuses and snowdrops dotting on green grass in parks around London, the contemporary womenswear labels on show at the
Scoop X Pure trade fair - held 8 – 10 February at The
Truman Brewery on Brick Lane - showcased joyful colours to match the optimistic seasonal mood.

If the bustling aisles were anything, they signaled the trade fair industry is returning to normal. It was encouraging to see a wide range of UK, London and international premium ready-to-wear women’s collections and accessory labels on offer, including established and newcomers, greeted trade visitors and buyers with enticing designs.

Meanwhile, the international Pure London show has announced it is returning to Olympia London in Kensington on 17-19 July 2022, its first event since being put on hold due to the pandemic. For the past two seasons the show was combined on a much smaller scale with Scoop.

This July Pure will be on its own, featuring five segments - womenswear, footwear and accessories, Pure Lab, and Pure Origin, plus a new stand-alone Pure Jewel, an exclusive area specifically for fine and precious jewellery.
