According to the consumer research consultants Attest, UK consumers are celebrating Valentine's Day this year on a more price-conscious budget due to concerns over economic uncertainties and rising living costs. It reported that some 36% of consumers it had surveyed are expected to spend £25 or less on a gift, 32% would spend £25 - £50 and just 21% would spend between £50-£100. Gifts thaat lovers would go for include jewellery, clothing, electronics, as well as roses.
It's of course, after all the thought that counts.
