Leather designer and craftswoman Candice Lau, founder of

Promising a hands-on approach, the designer said, “On the day, we will select and dye
the edges of the leather in a contrasting colour, hammer the
holes with a prickling iron in preparation for stitching, choose from a
selection of colour threads for the saddle stitching, finish off by
personalising the clutch with your name/initials.”

Candice Lau, who studied
the skill of pattern making and traditional saddlery work at the Alri Workshop
in Hong Kong and at the London School of Fashion, added that all materials and use of tools are included
in the course.
What a great way to learn a new skill, make and share a personal gift for yourself or friends and loved ones.
