House of Dagmar wins Zalando Sustainability Award, announced Copenhagen Fashion Week

Congrats to House of Dagmar.  The jury was impressed by its strong sustainable ambition which is implemented through many aspects of the brand's supply chain.

House of Dagmar will receive a financial prize and a partnership with Zalando in developing an exclusive collection that will continue to explore sustainability solutions in design across materials, production processes, technological solutions and traceability.

To further support House of Dagmar in its business growth, Zalando will make a broad selection of the collection showcased at Copenhagen Fashion Week available to its more than 35 million customers across 17 European markets.

House of Dagmar is a Swedish fashion brand founded in 2005 by three sisters, Karin Söderlind, Kristina Tjäder and Sofia Wallenstam who decided to pick up the legacy after their late grandmother.

The house was founded in 2005 based on a desire to establish a long-lasting business based on a high quality-approach.  High quality contributes to a longer life span for clothes, which is ultimately better for the environment: this is the brand’s central DNA.  The brand aspires to create classical pieces with character, so that women wearing them always feel empowered and easily can combine different pieces from different collections together.

The House of Dagmar's definition of sustainability is built on three pillars: Design, Ethics and Longevity.

Strong believers in giving customers the right care instructions with the purchase of a Dagmar garment in order for the garment to maintain its quality and durability, and by designing classical yet expressive clothes in high-quality materials, Dagmar believe that each piece from the collections can be wearable year after year.
