The global textile and fashion industry will once again turn its attention to the French capital this September as Première Vision Paris returns to its historical autumn slot with a forward-looking edition centered on Innovation and Technology, and Beauty,  in response to the industry's rapidly shifting landscape. Taking place from September 16 to 18 at the Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte, the event will welcome more than 1,000 exhibitors, including over 100 (12%) first-time participants, marking a significant milestone in the trade show’s evolution, underscoring the event’s growing international reach and relevance.

Premiere Vision Paris to return in September 2025

“Première Vision Paris’ return to its historical calendar and the ambitious programming of this edition reflect the ongoing changes aimed at better meeting the strong expectations of brands and manufacturers,” said Florence Rousson, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Première Vision and CEO of the Fashion Division of GL events. “This event supports the future of fashion — resolutely innovative and responsible — while welcoming over a hundred new leading players in search of opportunities and development.”

This year’s seasonal theme, “Synesthesia”, invites visitors to explore multisensory creativity, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between fashion and beauty. For the first time, the beauty sector will be featured across key activations and in the immersive Prospective Area — an inspiring central space designed to showcase future-facing concepts and industry intersections. With the theme of “Connections”, the space reflects relationships between materials and beauty, technology and emotion, and innovation and industry.

Complementing the trend-led environments, the show introduces a new Talks Stage devoted to Fashion and Beauty, and a broader, more strategic conference programme. This includes four critical themes designed to help industry players anticipate market shifts:

  • Innovation & Technology for Creativity and Product Design

  • Innovation & Technology for 2030

To enhance business engagement, Première Vision Paris will host 150 selected guests, guiding them through bespoke, curated journeys tailored to unlock growth opportunities. In addition, pre-arranged business meetings will be held throughout the three-day event, fostering commercial partnerships and creative collaborations.

Attendees can also take part in six thematic walkthroughs, offering structured navigation across key zones — from the Prospective Area to Décor, Citywear, Eco-Innovation, Bags & Shoes, Sport & Lingerie, and a dedicated France-focused route.

The Première Vision mobile app returns as an essential digital companion, allowing users to schedule meetingscreate personalised itinerariestrack favourites, and follow curated visit routes for an optimised experience.

Come April 22 and 23, Première Vision is making its much-anticipated Canadian debut in Montréal, bringing together a cross-section of the global fashion industry. Over the course of two days, more than 100 exhibitors will transform the Grand Quai into a dynamic hub of creativity, innovation, and opportunity, supported by an engaging new program of 24 conferences spotlighting the sector’s most pressing issues.

This inaugural Montréal edition, held with the support of mmode, marks Première Vision’s first Canadian event and its second in North America — a region of growing strategic importance for the textile and leather industries. It offers a fresh commercial alternative for professionals seeking to expand into new markets.

Florence Rousson, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Première Vision and Managing Director of The Creative Pole at GL events, shared:

“This new event in Montréal underscores our ambition to offer a truly global platform for the textile industry. In an unpredictable global climate, the market must reestablish its bearings and reinforce its position. PV Montréal gives industry players two days to explore a market full of unique and promising opportunities.”

Montréal Mayor Valérie Plante added:

“As a UNESCO City of Design and a thriving creative hub in North America, Montréal is proud of its flourishing fashion sector. Amid global economic uncertainty, Première Vision Montréal is a powerful expression of our creative identity, while also offering meaningful prospects for business growth and market diversification. I strongly encourage Montréal-based brands and fashion professionals to attend and connect with global leaders and talents in the industry.”

Mathieu St-Arnaud Lavoie, Managing Director of mmode, emphasized the industry’s importance:

“Canada is a key player in the global textile scene, contributing CAD 7.9 billion in added value to Québec’s GDP and employing 77,500 people directly in the fashion and apparel sector.”

This first edition at the Grand Quai will gather over 100 exhibitors, affirming the significance of the event for international buyers and positioning it alongside the world’s leading textile industry gatherings. Canada leads participation with 20% of exhibitors, followed by South Korea, Portugal, China, France, Turkey, the U.S., Italy, and Spain.

Six key sectors will be featured: designs, fabrics, manufacturing, leather/furs, accessories, and smart creation — representing the full scope of the fashion supply chain. Attendees will discover a vast range of materials and know-how, from traditional craftsmanship to cutting-edge innovation.

To support attendees in sourcing and trend-spotting, Première Vision Montréal will feature an exclusive fashion information space highlighting key colors and trends for Spring-Summer 2026.

A festive kickoff cocktail will also bring together participants for an evening of networking and community building alongside industry leaders and key stakeholders.

For the first time in a Première Vision event, a special series titled "One Day, One Chef, One Designer: Celebrating Creativity" will explore the intersections of fashion and the broader creative industries. These sessions will spark dialogue on the creative process and offer fresh insights into how creativity flows across disciplines.

Day one will feature Debbie Zakaib (Executive Director, La Table Ronde), Ifigenia Hill (Design Director, Lamarque), and Patrice Demers (Pastry Chef, Sabayon). On day two, Catherine Lecuyer (Corporate Public Relations Manager, Aldo Group), Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert (Creative Director, MRKNTN), and Dario Bivona (Author and Pastry Chef) will take the stage.

Première Vision Montréal promises to be a vibrant and inspiring celebration of fashion, innovation, and cross-cultural creativity — a must-attend for professionals eager to connect, discover, and grow in this evolving global market.  For the full programme of events, click HERE.

Over 1,200 weavers and garment makers are gathered in Halls 2, 3, and 4 of the exhibition centre for this February 2025 edition. This return to a reimagined venue signals a fresh chapter in the visitor experience. According to the organizers, this edition will showcase the rich diversity of global sourcing, offering creative collections at competitive prices tailored to the fashion industry.

To enhance the sourcing experience, the organizers are leveraging their return to the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre to revamp and restructure the visitor areas. This includes reconfiguring the layout of sectors and services to foster new synergies between raw materials and finished products.

Hall 4 will feature areas dedicated to women’s wear, including sections such as All About Her, Embroidery & Lace, and Silky Aspect, with a focus on knitwear, silk, and lace. Hall 3 will spotlight apparel for the outdoors, with an emphasis on sportswear and casualwear.

Hall 2 will serve as a hub for relaxation, dining, and networking. It will also offer spaces for inspiration, including trend forums, product showcases, services, and the Agora—a venue for conferences and roundtable discussions.

This season, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris places a strong emphasis on innovations, sustainability, and creative initiatives. A highlight is the new “Initiatives” zone at the entrance of Hall 4, showcasing sustainable solutions like Bao Lan Textile’s pineapple leaf fiber fabrics, developed with Ecofa Vietnam, which boast antibacterial properties and UPF 50+ UV protection. This area will also feature the China Textile Information Centre’s trends forum and the Econogy Hub, focusing on sustainability initiatives in the textile sector.

The event also shines a spotlight on international exhibitors. Key participants include China, Turkey, India, Korea, and Taiwan, alongside alternative sourcing regions such as Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Egypt. Notable contributors include Dutch companies like Quality Textile, Nooteboom, and Verhees Textiles in the cotton sector and Korean knitwear specialists such as O.N.K. and W-Tex. The Denim sector sees growth this year, with around 30 exhibitors, including major players like Winwin Textile from China and NZ Denim from Bangladesh.

Apparel Sourcing expands its global reach, with a special focus on African producers, including companies from Ethiopia, Rwanda, and the Arise Integrated Industrial Platform presenting Togo, Benin, and Gabon. Near Sourcing is also highlighted through Foursource, which represents exhibitors from Eastern Europe, Portugal, and Morocco. Over 500 exhibitors will present finished products, fashion accessories, and clothing, with national pavilions hosted by countries like China, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, as well as a return of five Ukrainian companies supported by their textile association.

To enhance the visitor experience, Messe Frankfurt France has introduced three exhibitor tailored initiatives. The Econogy Finder trail identifies over 80 sustainable textile suppliers, while the Small Quantity itinerary highlights 200 exhibitors specializing in limited runs ideal for capsule collections. Lastly, the Hand Made itinerary showcases 130 exhibitors offering authentic, handmade products, all easily searchable via the fair’s online directory and app.

Tesco announces commitment to detox its textile production

One of the UK' top supermarket chains which is counted among the world's largest retailers, Tesco has joined some 80 international brands and suppliers committed to the Green Peace Detox campaign to become toxic-free since the campaign began in 2011.

Tesco has today (July 14th) announced they will immediately begin the process of eliminating hazardous chemicals from the supply chain of their garment brand F&F, and will release a full list of their suppliers.

According to the Tesco Detox commitment, the retailer's own fashion brand F&F are committed to knowing where their fabrics are produced and that the garments are legal, safe and free from harmful chemicals, wherever in the world their products are made, and ensuring that they are manufactured in a way that protects the workers in our supply chains and safeguards the environment.

To date, the companies and brands that have committed to detoxing now represent 15% of the worldwide textile production, according to the Greenpeace campaign.  They include M&S, H&M, Benetton, Levi Strauss, Aldi, Lidl and Tchibo.

The Greenpeace Detox Catwalk website features all the brands and suppliers who have made this commitment and tracks their progress.

Kirsten Brodde, Project Lead of Detox Campaign, Greenpeace Germany, said:
“The Detox standard is the new industry baseline - in only six years, forerunners of the textile sector went from total denial and opacity of their supply chain to transparency and the banning of all hazardous chemicals. Tesco’s commitment shows the rest of the industry that using hazardous chemicals is not an option anymore.”

“Tesco now has the opportunity to match the progress being made by other retailers and Greenpeace will monitor it closely to ensure they follow up their commitment,” said Brodde.
