Fashion Event: Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26 Unveils January 2026 Programme with Expanded Talks, Activations and Emerging Talent Showroom

Copenhagen Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026 edition is set to take place from 27 to 30 January 2026, with a four-day programme of runway shows, presentations, talks, events and creative activations across the Danish capital. Organisers have confirmed the official talks programme, with Vogue Business named as media partner for the season.

According to Copenhagen Fashion Week, the  will spotlight a wide range of activations, launches and releases from emerging and international brands, both from the Nordics and beyond. The event and talks schedule includes contributions from brands and organisations such as 66°North, Berner Kühl, Google x Vogue Scandinavia, Sophie Bille Brahe, Stine Goya, Substack, The Walt Disney Company, Kinraden, Tekla, By Malene Birger, Bellaura, Vagabond, CIFF, Lié Studio, Migliorini, House of Kerry, Rotate Birger Christensen, Stella Nova Copenhagen, among others.

A key focus of the January edition will be the Talks programme, which brings together industry leaders from across fashion, technology, media and design. Each day will centre on a dedicated theme addressing current challenges and future opportunities within the industry.

As official media partner, Vogue Business will amplify the talks to its global audience, with the sessions released post-event as podcasts on Copenhagen Fashion Week’s Spotify channel.

Discussion topics will include the role of artificial intelligence in fashion’s future growth and innovation; the rapidly evolving role of magazines as their purpose, format and audiences are redefined; and “Wear and Care”, examining a garment’s lifecycle from construction to longevity. Other themes include creativity and durability in fashion, the use of new technologies to enable personalised fit and reduce returns through design insights, psychological comfort in virtual try-on technology, learning from historical innovation to inform future-facing design, and fashion as a platform for identity and self-expression.

In addition to the shows and talks, PHFW will host a dedicated showroom for the AW26 season, showcasing collections from emerging Nordic designers. The showroom is designed to introduce Nordic and international press and buyers to a curated selection of new talent from the region.

The showroom will feature three designers from the CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme: Anne Sofie Madsen, Bonnetje, and the newest addition, Stem. It will also include One To Watch designers Sson, Studio Constance and Taus, alongside Annukka Havukumpu, represented by ALPHA.  CPHFW also welcomes UGG as a collaborator for NEWTALENT designer Anne Sofie Madsen.

Fashion Week News: Ukrainian fashion brand TG Botanical will showcase its AW25 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week AW25 will take place from January 27 to 31, 2025, offering a dynamic lineup of showcases, presentations, events, activations, and talks.

A highlight of this season is the continuation of the partnership between Ukrainian Fashion Week and Copenhagen Fashion Week. Now in its sixth season, this collaboration celebrates the "Support Ukrainian Fashion" initiative. Copenhagen Fashion Week has been a leader in bringing global attention to Ukrainian fashion, demonstrating steadfast support for the country’s designers and industry.

On January 30, from 10:30 to 12:30 CET, Ukrainian brand TG Botanical will present its AW25 collection at the Design Museum Danmark. Founded in 2021 by designer Tetyana Chumak, TG Botanical is renowned for its modern women’s clothing made from natural materials like hemp, linen, cotton, and nettle fibres. Using traditional dyeing methods and plant-based pigments sourced from tansy flowers, acorns, onion husks, and coffee beans, the brand emphasises sustainability and ethical production by crafting all collections in-house. TG Botanical debuted on the official CPHFW FW23 schedule, selected as a finalist for the Zalando Sustainability Award.

Fashion Trade Fairs: Classic and contemporary designer styles continue at Copenhagen Fashion Week

It's Day Four and the final show day of Copenhagen Fashion Week AW24. 

Opening the day is the Ukrainian brand TG Botanical and at the end of the day ROTATE will be closing the Copenhagen Fashion Week AW24 official schedule. 

Once again the CPHFW NEWTALENT showroom supported by CIRCULOSE® is open for industry appointments and the official talk programme with Vogue Business continues with two talks on the schedule: "Innovations in the supply chain" at the dedicated CFW Talk venue in the Polestar Space and "The power and purpose of the next generation" at the GANNI exhibition venue at Nikolaj Kunsthal. 

The evening will close with a special dinner co-hosted by CFW, Hypebeast and Hypebae spotlighting the creative Nordic industries. 

On the third day of shows on January 31, CFW celebrated its partnership with Ukrainian Fashion Week with a presentation from the brands Chereshnivska, Domanof, J'amemme, Paskal, and Vozianov. 

The day's runway presentations began with Opéra Sport.

OpéraSport strives to bridge the Parisian way of integrating classic and contemporary styles with the sporty edge of Copenhagen, thus ensuring relevance and timelessness throughout. 

It was an elegant yet sporty, luxurious yet affordable, sustainable yet sexy collecgtion.  A responsible mindset reflects the production to only cover recycled or organic fabrics and a production volume that continuously reflects the demand; to create and produce responsible and relevant clothing without compromising design and aesthetics, according to the brand.

Closing the third day was a presentation by Danish fashion house Baum und Pferdgarten, founded in Copenhagen in 1999.  The brand name is an interplay between the surnames of the founding Creative Directors, Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave.

Their timeless and design-led collections are full of unexpected playful contrasts.

Canadian designer Paolina Russo who has a BA degree from Central St Martin's in London, also presented her AW24 collection.  

The London-based label won the first Zalando Visionary Award in partnership with Copenhagen Fashion Week (CFW) in 2023.

Fashion Trade Fair: Copenhagen Fashion Week AW24 edition has kicked off

The AW24 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week kicked off  on January 29th 2024 with a highly curated schedule of some of the biggest names in Danish fashion. Following the first talk of the season which took place in the Polestar Space, the day commenced with the Opening Reception.

CPHFW NEWTALENT supported by CIRCULOSE® recipient Nicklas Skovgaard officially opened the show schedule. 

Nicklas Skovgaard is a considered, luxury womenswear brand, with a strong elocution intending to delight through unexpected parallels.

Each body of Nicklas' work builds upon the last collection, acting with an evolutionary purpose and building an ever-evolving vocabulary. Orchestrating these classical and strange symphonies within his eponymous textiles and recognizable design, Nicklas Skovgaard is a brand cultivated on the edge of romanticism and realism. Nicklas Skovgaard was nominated as a finalist of the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize 2022.
