London Design Week 2026 has opened and the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour has been transformed into a dynamic celebration of creativity. More than 100 free Access All Areas events hosted by the showrooms and House Guests include panel discussions to provide inspirations, presentations of new collections, artisan demonstrations and ways to boost professional development.

Highlights include a presentation on 11 March by Inge Moore, founder at Muza Lab to explore the rise of tactile interiors under the title: The Age of Tactility: Mastering Touch in Experience-led Design.

In an era where design is increasingly experience-led, touch has become a defining marker of luxury, and Moore will explore how small, sensory details help shape perception, comfort and emotional connection and make an impact on interior design.
Ralph Lauren Home is also unveiling their new Spring 2026 collection: Meadow Lane to celebrate coastal living that is defined by casual elegance and timeless romance, whilst capturing the essence of a charming home by the sea.

Over in the showroom of George Smith, a master upholsterer will give a live demonstration on the build process of one of its best-selling designs. During From Frame to Finish: The Art of Upholstery, visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore the craftsmanship, techniques and artistry behind these pieces, offering insight into the skill and precision involved.

Meanwhile a host of events will take place within the new Design Emporium Collective. For one, guest speaker and renowned floral decorator Paul Hawkins, founder of Paul Hawkins Flowers will demonstrate the art of creating an elegant, immersive experience, from creating a fresh, seasonal arrangement to finding the perfect finishing touches. Whether one is a dedicated design enthusiast or looking to bring professional flair to their next gathering, this session offers insights to transform the dining table.
Throughout the week, registered visitors to London Design Week 2026 can join guided Walk and Talk tours to get an insider’s view of the latest collections and explore the new Design Emporium Collective.
