Picture above shows the active Beachy Head Lighthouse (built 1902) at the cliff base of Beachy Head, Eastbourne, East Sussex.  It stands as a powerful beacon of hope, symbolizing guidance, resilience, and reassurance in the face of uncertainty. Rising steadfastly from the waters below the cliffs, it reflects the enduring role of lighthouses: offering direction during darkness, warning of hidden dangers, and guiding those at sea toward safety. Its constant light, unwavering despite storms and isolation, represents hope that persists even in the most challenging conditions—a reminder that clarity, stability, and safe passage are possible when they are needed most.
